Unreal Tournament is one of the most popular FPS series in the world. Thousands of players around the globe have kept this multiplayer online game alive during all these years since it was first released in 1999. Now it's time to give them more action, more weapons and more fun with the new title of the series, Unreal Tournament 3.

First of all, bear in mind that this is a beta demo, so it may be a little buggy. In fact it crashed a couple of times during our tests, but you know, we enjoyed it just the same. It was simply awesome to have that UT feeling back again: a dark, sordid, futuristic scenario; a military-style soundtrack; a wide range of weapons to choose from; and, of course, lots of non-stop frantic action both in local games against bots -with variable AI level- and in online matches against other human players.

The demo requires you to create a profile, which barely takes 30 seconds. After that, you'll be able to taste all the goodies brought by this new Unreal. Although scarce in maps, the demo allows you to play different game modes and even online multiplayer games, including a Capture-the-Flag map where you can drive different vehicles. However, you'll have to learn how to control them on the way, as there's no help available but a few on-screen tips.

In short, Unreal's return is great. This demo is so enjoyable that it really leaves you longing for more. But in any case it's a great way to train before the complete game hits shelves.
